Von Scharenberg Kennel has been breeding top quality German Shepherds in the United States for more than 25 years. We go to great lengths to personally select some of the finest dogs available in Germany to include in our breeding program. We strive for excellence in temperament, sound hips, exceptional drive and an insatiable desire to learn. We only raise a few litters per year so that all puppies receive as much personal attention and stimulus as possible from birth, until they are placed in their homes or working environments.
We breed only certified dogs ( those x-rayed and approved by the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals) and guarantee our puppies hips and health. We go to great lengths to make certain the puppies are well socialized at an early age.

Von Scharenberg German Shepherds are ideally suited for show or working environments and have been used for hospital therapy, VA service dogs, search & rescue work, guide dogs, police work, and of course exceptional family companions.
